THE FUGS It Crawled Into My Hand, Honest (Legendary 1968 UK original 21-track vinyl LP on the textured white & purple Transatlantic label, featuring Ed Sanders, Tuli Kupferberg & Ed Weaver, internal pocket & internal flipback front laminated gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve displays just a little general wear mostly to the edges & corners, whilst the vinyl remains very good with some minor surface marks. Although not mint this is an ideal play copy at an advantageous price TRA181)

This is the Fugs best album.

They had finally graduated from cheap recording techniques and hired first-rate session men. It gives their form of rock a huge anthem sound without sacrificing catchy tunes and interesting lyrics.
With a classical producer they even manage to arrange Country and Western with classical waltzes & get away with it!
The album counterpoints the deft tune writing ability of Tuli Kupferberg with the sweet and sour lyrics of Ed Sanders.

This album has been described as the Sgt. Peppers of the true underground. It was one of the most important records of the 60's but has been sadly neglected since. Fearlessly inventive & uncompromising, with no hint of commercialism, this is poets following their vision, come hell or waters high.
