THE BEATLES The Beatles Ultimate Collection (Rare 1988 UK limited edition box set containing all fourteen 1987 remastered album's along with Past Master Part 1 & 2, across sixteen vinyl LP's with a total of 226 songs, each in their own picture sleeve with the cut-outs for Sgt Pepper. This special order only set is within the black roll top box. The distinctive black wooden box was designed for style, durability and easy access with the original front opening roller shutter (like a bureau desk) made from hard-wearing wood composite. The box itself measures 15" x 15" x 4½" deep & has 'The Beatles' at the bottom of the roller shutter. The advantage of this box over the cassette & CD version is that there are no recesses inside so could easily store the original pressings instead, also includes the 5" x 7½" sixty four page glossy book with notes on each of the tracks, discography & many great photos. The box has a small crack to one corner which has no effect on the operation of the roller shutter,otherwise remains really nice. The sleeves display minimal wear whilst the vinyl has little evidence of play)
