THE SPECTRES I (Who Have Nothing) (Monster Rare 1967 Japanese wide centred 7" vinyl single, featuring a pre-Status Quo, Francis Rossi (guitar, vocals), Alan Lancaster (bass, vocals), Roy Lynes (keyboards, vocals) & John Coghlan (drums). The Spectres signed a five-year deal with Piccadilly Records in the summer of '66 & this was their debut single, produced by John Schroeder, it hit the British record shops in September & then worldwide in Japan in January the following year. It remains one of the most elusive records relating to the mighty Quo! Our Japanese buyer had to stray further afield in order to find one for the first time. Featuring 'Neighbour, Neighbour' on the b-side & complete with the original die-cut company sleeve & unique wraparound lyric picture sleeve, see 'more info' for condition details... LL-1002-Y)
