Meet The Beatles - VG

THE BEATLES Meet The Beatles (Rare 1964 US 12-track mono LP, with three 'BMI' & nine 'ASCAP' credits on the rainbow rim label. This was the only US mono pressing of this classic, all subsequent issues were stereo. The thick card pasted picture sleeve has no 'George Martin' credit & is printed with the number '6' bottom right & the 'Scranton PA - Los Angeles' manufacturing address. The cover exhibits a few natural splits in the paper to a couple of the far reaching edges but thereis no writing or splits to the actual seams. The labels reveal some minor spindle wear by the centre holes to indicate play [faint name penned on the A-side]. The vinyl itself is clean & grades VG. There are a number of faint paper scuffs, light hairlines & the odd small scratch but playback reveals no real loss in fidelity. Sounds great on a mono playback setting T2047)
