VELVET UNDERGROUND White Light/ White Heat (Rare 1968 Canadian first issue 6-track stereo LP with unique dark blue & silver Verve labels [no vertical 'T' like the US press], ending on the full 17 minute glorious racket of Sister Ray! The pasted sleeve reveals the skull image tattoo on the front, with Canadian manufacturing print front & back & no mention of Andy Warhol. This impressive collector's copy is two years away from being half a century old but it still looks absolutely incredible. The sleeve & the vinyl are virtually near mint. The spine will stand out more than any other record on a shelf, it looks that good, & there are no deletion cuts, tears or writing, the back panel a stunning off white. The vinyl retains a deep sheen both sides with merely the very lightest few paper scuffs to highlight any form of handling. Really nice! V6-5046)#Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time
