SOFT MACHINE 5 (1979 UK Embassy issue of the 1972 7-track LP, housed in an all-black embossed title sleeve with gold promo stamp on the back for review before release. By this point Robert Wyatt had left to form MatchingMole, & freeform jazz drummer Phil Howard was drafted in as replacement, doing a mighty fine job of it too. The cover has some minor scuff marks in the paper, mainly around the edge, & the vinyl appears near 'as new' CBS31748)
