Cover :-

The gatefold jacket is a simple yet effective design. The laminate has done a fine job of keeping the condition up. All text is clearly legible, including along the spine, which reveals just a small patch of paper loss at the top. There is some mild age-related foxing but the cover is as nice as can be achieved in 2016, especially for a rare record of this vintage, & thus grades a healthy EX/EX-.

Contents :-

The poster is unused. The colours remain rich & vivid with no tears, writing or any cause for concern.
The thin inner sleeve lists all the album credit details in a handwritten fashion, & still looks remarable both sides, despite being black on white, there is mild foxing evident, edge scuffing & a little corner creasing, all par for the course, & with all text legible. Sometimes these inner sleeves & posters are used, torn or absent altogether. This is a lovely complete copy.

Vinyl :-

The vinyl shines greatly both sides with no real loss to the sheen. The disc shows evidence of play & side one grades Excellent, with just a few faint cosmetic scuffs to indicate past use. Playback is exceptional. Side two reveals a few faint radial & lateral scuffs. Track two that side plays with some light background crackle & there are a few faint pops & clicks audible during track four, with no jumps & a great listen despite these minor blemishes.
This first press vinyl grades a very nice EX/VG-. This is the first copy we have ever been able to find & would make for a standout piece in any British Folk collection.
