THE BEATLES Riviera Idlewild Hotel Bedsheet Square (As
Beatlemania continued to sweep the USA in 1964, several
Hotels used by the band on their tour decided to cash in by
selling bedsheet square and other items of memorabilia used
by the band.This particular item is an approximately 2"
square part of a bedsheet used by Mr McCartney when he
stayed at the Hotel on 20th & 21st September 1964. The
square comes with a promo picture of Paul attached to a
signed letter of authenticity bythe Hotel Manager, Lou
Barney. This hotel was goinng to make as much as it could
from The Beatles' stay, as they not only sold off their
bedsheets, but also their face towels, forks, salad plates,
bathmats, used soap, bath towels, teaspoons, cups, serving
trays, soda bottles, dinner plates, saucers, ash trays, pillow
cases, knoves, small plates, glasses and even the salt &
pepper shakers they used!)
