THE BEATLES Special Priority Preview! (Rare 1964 US die cut card ticket for the premiere matinee showing of the A Hard Day's Night film at the Fox Theatre in Salina, Kansas [a wonderful 1930 Art Deco building] on Wednesday August 19th at 3:00PM. The ticket is wonderfully printed on heavy card stock with [as ever] a 1963 picture of the band that has been carefully die cut around the image. For fifty year old paper goods, the condition is quite special. There are just a few scuffs atthe corners and a little creasing to Paul to show for all those years in the wild, which included attending the film premiere. There is a small amount of tape residue evident in places on the front where the ticket was obviously once proudly displayed but these are minor and serve simply to add to the vintage appeal of the piece. This theatre had a capacity of 1,350, so that's the absolute maximum number of these tickets ever available. How many do you think have survived ?)
