Wil Malone is not just a name spoken in hushed tones among prog/psych collectors, although his work in The Orange Bicycle & Motherlight is of great interest, but he is also one of the legendary 'behind-the-scenes' arrangers, with a portfolio of work for Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Todd Rundgren, Depeche Mode & nearly Madonna! Wil Malone also scored major hipster points in the nineties for arranging the strings on the classic 'Unfinished Sympathy' by Massive Attack. This lead to further work fleshing out the familiar string part on The Verve's 'Bittersweet Symphony' & also 'Lonely Soul' with Richard Ashcroft & UNKLE's James Lavelle & DJ Shadow.

Condition :-

This one previous owner copy has seen very low mileage, archived since the day of release. The sleeve still looks wonderful with rich, vivid, colours & all text clearly legible. There is a tiny bit of faint scuffing across the front panel & minor edge scuffing just at the opening, but the sleeve otherwise meets a firm excellent grading.

The vinyl is super clean with only light signs of play. The labels reveal just a tiny spot of spindle wear by the centre holes but this is very minor. We would happily grade this copy EX+. A beautiful, one of a kind, collector's item.

Highly recommended - blink & you might miss!
