THE BEATLES A Hard Day's Night No. 2 EP (Rare 1964 UK first pressing 4-track 7" vinyl EP with 'Parlophone Co', 'Recording First Published' & 'Sold In The UK' label text, front laminated flipback picture sleeve with just '6412' date on the back, no printer credit & round ended flipbacks. How this came about, we're not sure, but this sleeve was almost certainly printed by E.J. Day when all previously known sleeves had diagonal cut flips and were pressed by Garrod & Lofthouse with '6412G& L' printed on the back. The one owner example remains in a really nice condition. Apart from a small name sticker on the reverse (which can be removed), the sleeve displays just very light wear, with a very clean non-laminated back and very little signs of age. The labels remains very clean with no writing of paper loss, and have just a couple of very light spindle marks, whilst the vinyl too is very clean with little evidence to show for its fifty five years. A very unusual variant of this EP that we have never seen before. We are indebted to Mr Bruce Spizer for his help in identifying this GEP8924)
