BOB DYLAN Live 1966: The Bootleg Series Vol.4 (1998 UK 15-track double CD album set containing Dylan's legendary performance at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester on 17th May 1966. This incredible recording had done the rounds as a bootleg formany years, purporting to be recorded at the Royal Albert Hall. Divided into two sets [acoustic and electric] Dylan and The Hawks are at their absolute peak, perhaps driven by the negative reaction to his 'going electric'; the set climaxes with apositively menacing 'Like A Rolling Stone' preceded by the infamous 'Judas' comment. The two discs show just light play housed in the slim-double jewel case complete with the card slipcase and extensive booklet)
