THE LOW ANTHEM Oh My God, Charlie Darwin (2009 US issue 12-track vinyl LP album - co-produced with and engineered by Jesse Lauter in the cold, bare stillness of a Block Island winter, 'Oh My God, Charlie Darwin' illuminates the band's ability tocreate something that is both delicate and hugely evocative. The abandoned tourist destination was a haven of peace and quiet, with the only sounds being the rush of sea wind against the panes of the cabin and the cracklinghum of the woodstove.Ten sleepless days and nights, hundreds of live takes and many bottles of Bourbon later, these were the record's principle ingredients and it sounds tremendous! Also includes the full album on CD, housed in a picture sleeve which is still sealed in the original stickered shrink)
