LUV MACHINE Luv Machine (Incredibly rare 1973 first French issue of the 1971 12-track stereo LP by the legendary psychedelic blues-rock band that have drawn comparisons to Jefferson Airplane, Sabbath, and King Crimson along with Led Zeppelin & Killing Floor. Certainly one of the first division UK heavy blues outfits that sadly broke up before they got the attention that they fully deserved. Now regarded as a lost classic, this album was released & sold in very small numbers worldwide. For some reason, France issued their one & only LP a full two years later, but with a unique sleeve replacing the more familiar 'record player with legs' image that adorned the other releases. This was more an Amazon robo-woman crossed with the green man! The front laminated sleeve on this copy shows only minimal wear with a little age yellowing to the unlaminated back. The vinyl is immaculate - Normally when copies of this album are found, they are wrecked. Somehow this copy made its way to Japan, where it has remained for over thirty five years until we bought it back to the UK. A staggering copy of this unique artwork issue & one that you'd be unlikely to better, even after many years of searching - a rare find indeed & we had to go to the other side of the world to find it!)
