Tracklisting & More Information

This, the fourth volume in the 'The Famous British Collectable Record Labels' series deals with one of the most sought-after record labels - Vertigo. The first collectors choices, of course, are the records with a so-called "swirl" label design. Unfortunately, LPs with this label design are few in number, therefore highly desirable in the marketplace. For this book, the research has been extended to detail & review not only British releases, but also Vertigo LPs from all around the world.

This book also features contributions from Record Collector's Barry Winton, a famous record collector from Great Britain. This man, who is well known for his numerous Record Collector articles, has provided information and material which both record collectors and historians will find useful. Bill Allerton, the owner of the Stand Out record store in London also mediated in correspondence with Barry.

The book also contains interviews with Denis Blackham, Barry Winton and Eugene Grishin. The latter two are often referred to as "Vertigo men".

An amazing & comprehensive work that is every bit the equal of the preceding three!
