ERIC BURDON & THE ANIMALS Love Is (Incredibly rare, thought not to exist 1968 UK 6-track WHITE LABEL 2 x 1-sided TEST PRESSING vinyl LPs. These are the much sought after MONO versions which are almost impossible to locate in this day and age! This one of a kind item comes from the vast personal archive collection of a former music journalist of the sixties, played once for review purposes and then locked away in storage for more than 30 years. Both white labels are handwritten 'Eric Burdon - Love Is' one side and housed in their original plain die-cut inner sleeves. In the top left-hand corner of both these inner sleeves are the stamped dates 3rd and 4th of March 1969, the handwritten catalogue details 2xMG-2851 and 2xMG-2861 [which are also printed in the run-out grooves on the vinyl] plus machine stamped British patent numbers to the lower left.

Both these one-sided vinyl discs appear to be in absolutely flawless condition. We believe these were played once only, if that - they look untouched!

The front laminate flipback picture sleeve reveals only the lightest of ringwear with age and some very minor laminate creasing to the edges, otherwise it is in excellent condition with a perfectly legible spine, secure flipbacks and no tears or any defects to the print at all, just beautiful!

A genuine rarity, who knows if this one will ever appear on the market again....
