VELVET UNDERGROUND / VARIOUS The East Village Other Electric Newspaper (1998 Italian pressed UK issue limited edition 10-track LP pressed on 180gram 1-SIDED ETCHED VIRGIN VINYL; originally released on the avant garde ESP label in 1966, this release was put together by various people in the New York art scene, associated with the underground newspaper, The East Village Other, and was recorded in August to commemorate Hiroshima Day. Amongst various chants and snippets from radio broadcasts, is a Velvet Underground track [officially unavailable elsewhere] called 'Noise'!)
