THE BEATLES Live In Holland 1964 (2024 UK limited edition
17-track LP recorded at Veilinghallen, Blokker, the
Netherlands on June 6th 1964, and VARA TV Hillegom Treslong
on June 5th, including two interviews. This LP gives us the
opportunity to compare Ringo’s drumming style to that of his
temporary replacement, Jimmy Nicol. The only other extant
concert recording with Nicol on drums is the Adelaide
Centennial Hall show six days later, when there was no
microphone on the kit. We have done the best we possibly
could with these admittedly lo-fi yet important historical
recordings that were recorded direct off-air in the 1960s.
