A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (1969 UK 6-track stereo LP on the
blue & turquoise label, described as one of the first
'progressive metal' albums from the UK. What ever the case,
this is dirty fuzzed-up, psych-rock of the highest order, &
certainly one of the heaviest of the late sixties to come from
these shores. Features Tony Hill [The Misunderstood] on
detuned fuzz duties, plus Simon House [Hawkind] on violin.
The gatefold sleeve has weakened over time with discolouring
from handling, aprice sticker tear top right & heavy scuffing
along the spine, resulting in a split in the middle. The artwork
inside still looks amazing however, & the vinyl is in VG/VG-
condition, playing well but with significant spindle wear on the
labels & a handful of light paper hairline scuffs. Far from
mint, this remains a welcome collection filler, with near mint
copies well up in the three figure sum territory! LBS83264)
