A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (1982 UK Limited re-issue of the 1969 6-track stereo LP, described as one of the first 'progressive metal' albums from the UK. What ever the case, this is dirty fuzzed-up, psych-rock of the highest order, & certainly one of the heaviest of the late sixties to come from these shores. Features Tony Hill [The Misunderstood] on detuned fuzz duties, plus Simon House [Hawkind] on violin. The front laminated sleeve is in excellent shape with only some discolouringto the unlaminated back which is to be expected with a white sleeve, whilst the vinyl looks rarely played. This copy is numbered 292 from a limited run of 1,000 WAX8)

Tracklisting: Futilist's Lament Death Warmed Up Pushed, But Not Forgotten Walking Down Their Outlook Missing Out Nowhere
HIGH TIDE High Tide (Limited 1982 UK issue of the rare British psych 1970 3-track LP, featuring Tony Hill of The Misunderstood & Simon House (Hawkwind), front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows some age-related foxing to the unlaminated back with the front remaining clear whilst the vinyl remains excellent with only a couple of light surface marks to indicate play. This copy is numbered 520 from a limited run of 1,000 WAX7)

Tracklisting: Blankman Cries Again The Joke Saneonymous
HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (Very rare 80s Japanese promotional-only sample issue of the 1969 6-track LP, described as one of the first 'progressive metal' albums from the UK. What ever the case, this is dirty fuzzed-up, psychedelic rock of the highest order, and certainly one of the heaviest of the late sixties to come from these shores. Features Tony Hill [of The Misunderstood] on detuned fuzz duties, plus Simon House [later Hawkind] on violin. The custom picture sleeve replicates the original album's artwork with Japanese text on the reverse and has only some light foxing to show for age, the vinyl is in immaculate condition. Auction terms such as 'monster' and 'killer' were invented for records like this one! DY-5804-02)

Tracklisting: Futilist's Lament Death Warmed Up Pushed, But Not Forgotten Walking Down Their Outlook Missing Out Nowhere
HIGH TIDE High Tide (Limited 1984 UK issue of the rare British psych 1970 3-track LP, featuring Tony Hill of The Misunderstood & Simon House (Hawkwind), picture sleeve replicating the original album's artwork. The sleeve shows a few storage scuff marks yet the vinyl remains clean & Excellent with only light axial wear to the grooves to indicate play PSYCHO27)

Tracklisting: Blankman Cries Again The Joke Saneonymous
HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (1969 UK 6-track stereo LP on the blue & turquoise label, described as one of the first 'progressive metal' albums from the UK. The gatefold sleeve has weakened over time with discolouring from handling, aprice sticker tear top right & heavy scuffing along the spine, resulting in a split in the middle. The artwork inside still looks amazing however, & the vinyl is in VG/VG- condition, playing well but with significant spindle wear on the labels & a handful of light paper hairline scuffs. Far from mint, this remains a welcome collection filler, with near mint copies well up in the three figure sum territory! LBS83264)
