The 'five trumpets' in question are Donald Byrd, Ray Copeland, Joe Wilder, Ernie Royal & Idrees Sulieman - each of whom at one time has been given credit for this session but it was in fact led by conducter & arranger Ernie Wilkins, who also provided half thetunes for the album.
