CAMEL The Snow Goose (2023 UK/EU 16-track vinyl LP - Released in 1975, The Snow Goose is Camel’s boldest artistic statement — an instrumental concept album based on the novella The Snow Goose by Paul Gallico. While the band had to avoid usingthe book's text directly (due to copyright concerns), their music stands alone as a compelling narrative, told without lyrics, and driven by mood, melody, and movement. This is not a conventional rock album. There are no vocals, no choruses,no "singles" in the usual sense. Instead, it's a cinematic suite in 16 movements, blending progressive rock, classical, and jazz fusion, with orchestral arrangements conducted by David Bedford. The result is a continuous 40-minute journey through war, friendship, loss, and redemption. The picture sleeve with original cover artwork retains its open factory shrinkwrap and hype sticker whilst the vinyl is in 'Near Mint' condition)
