THE NORMAN HAINES BAND Den Of Iniquity (Monster Rare 1971 UK 7-track vinyl LP, textured picture sleeve with rounded flipbacks. Recorded at Abbey Road by the former Locomotive keyboard player the album has been a long-time 'holy grail' for British prog/psych fans. Its scarcity due to record shops of the era refusing to stock it deeming the sleeve offensive! More fool them as it's Premier League Division prog longplayer with wigged out fuzz guitar and plenty of virtuoso keyboard work courtesy of Mr Haines - especially the [almost] side long suite 'Rabbits'. The sleeve is graded VG due to some disclouration and a little corner wear but is free of tears/writing etc. The vinyl is a different story - graded G due to its appearance [multiple scuffs, scratches etc] and a few chips off the run-in groove, but wait come back, we've cleaned it on a high-end cleaning machine and are pleased to report it sounds great, playing to a much higher standard than expected. With original Near Mint copies selling for two thousand pounds plus this may be your only chance to buy an original at a fraction of the cost - Recommended PCS7130)
