TOM SCOTT with THE CALIFORNIA DREAMERS The Honeysuckle Breeze (1998 Japanese remastered 10-track 20bit K2 Super Coding CD, the saxophonist's 1967 debut for Impulse! including groovy covers of The Beatles' 'She's Leaving Home', John Coltrane's'Naima' & Donovan's 'Mellow Yellow', with dreamy overtones reminiscent of Mamas & Papas, Free Design & the 5th Dimension, as well as psych touches courtesy of Bill Plummer on sitar. Also includes a cover of Jefferson Airplane's 'Today' containing the famous horn sample to Pete Rock & CL Smooth’s classic rap track 'T.R.O.Y.'! Complete with picture sleeve, Japanese booklet & obi-strip MVCJ-19164)
