THE SHOTGUN EXPRESS I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round (Super Rare October 1966 UK debut 7" single by the group that starred Beryl Marsden, John Moorshead, Peter Bardens, Phil Sawyer & Rod Stewart, also featuring the b-side 'Curtains'. The labels are Excellent with no writing or tears & the original four-prong centre is intact with period 'Sold In UK' print. Housed in the original die-cut Columbia sleeve, the vinyl is a clean VG & exhibits light surface wear with paperscuffs & hairlines which have little effect on play. What makes this extra special is that it includes an original Galaxy Entertainments contract from 1966! Not a reproduction, this is the original contract paper drawn up on 29th December 1966 by the company based in Carnaby Street, printed on logo'd paper in agreement between the band & The Royal Hotel, Ryde, Isle Of Wight for their appearance on 25th March 1967. The contract gives details of payment, performance times & requirements along with special stipulations. This copy has been marked 'cancelled' as the band decided to split up before they could do the gig. If only it was signed! A really nice artefact from the Swinging Sixties)
