A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

SHOTGUN EXPRESS Funny 'Cos Neither Could I (Rare original 1967 UK Columbia label 2-track 7" vinyl single with solid centre, also including Indian Thing. The vinyl is in immaculate condition with little evidence of play, and is housed in the original wavy-cut paper company sleeve. This '60s rarity features Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood, who would go on to briefly play with John Mayall's Bluesbreakers before forming Fleetwood Mac, alongside Beryl Marsden, Dave Ambrose and Peter Bardens[later of the Brian Auger Trinity and The Love Affair respectively]. A real gem! DB8178)

Tracklisting: 1. Funny 'Cos Neither Could I 2. Indian Thing
THE SHOTGUN EXPRESS The Shotgun Express (1983 UK 4-track 10" LP of rare sixties recordings by the cult British RnB group, starring Peter Bardens & Rod Stewart. The picture sleeve [VG] has some scuffing to the paper from storage yet the vinyl remains Excellent with few signs of play CYM2)

Tracklisting: A1 I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round A2 Curtains B1 Funny 'Cos Neither Could I B2 Indian Thing
SHOTGUN EXPRESS Galaxy Entertainments Contract (Rare original 1966 contract drawn up on 29th December 1966 on Galaxy Entertainments logo'd paper between the band and The Royal Hotel, Ryde, Isle Of Wight for their appearance at there on 25th March1967. The contract gives details of payment, performance times and requirements along with special stipulations. This copy has been marked 'cancelled' as the band decided to split up before they coulddo the gig. A genuine one off piece of music history!)
THE SHOTGUN EXPRESS I Could Feel The Whole World Turn Round (Super Rare October 1966 UK debut 7" single by the group that starred Beryl Marsden, John Moorshead, Peter Bardens, Phil Sawyer & Rod Stewart, also featuring the b-side 'Curtains'. The labels are Excellent with no writing or tears & the original four-prong centre is intact with period 'Sold In UK' print. Housed in the original die-cut Columbia sleeve, the vinyl is a clean VG & exhibits light surface wear with paperscuffs & hairlines which have little effect on play. What makes this extra special is that it includes an original Galaxy Entertainments contract from 1966! Not a reproduction, this is the original contract paper drawn up on 29th December 1966 by the company based in Carnaby Street, printed on logo'd paper in agreement between the band & The Royal Hotel, Ryde, Isle Of Wight for their appearance on 25th March 1967. The contract gives details of payment, performance times & requirements along with special stipulations. This copy has been marked 'cancelled' as the band decided to split up before they could do the gig. If only it was signed! A really nice artefact from the Swinging Sixties)
