MOUNTAIN Mystic Fire (2002 Japanese 10-track promo sample CD issued to radio stations and reviewers ahead of the actual release date. The groups seventh studio album, includes the song Immortal, co-written with and originally performed by Clutch.It was originally released with different lyrics, and a different arrangement, as the song Baby I'm Down on their Mountain (1969), Leslie West's first solo album. Clutch covered the song on their 2001 album Pure Rock Fury, rearranging it andchanging the lyrics; their version has a guitar solo by Leslie West. Mountain then covered that version of the song on this album; with a custom stamped inner rim on the disc complete with picture sleeve, lyrics & promo stickered obi-strip VICP-62065)
