THE CREATION We Are Paintermen (2008 German exclusive limited edition 12-track stereo vinyl LP - originally released in 1967 in Germany and Sweden only, The Creation's debut longplayer is a superb collection of Shel Talmy-produced cutting-edge freakbeat originals [with a couple of decent filler covers thrown in for good measure] showcasing the skilled writing team of Kenny Pickett and Eddie Phillips, the latter also turning in a stunning performance on guitar, pioneering theuse of a violin bow and sustained feedback! Originals are now very thin on the ground, and usually super-expensive when they do show - here's an opportunity to grab the music at a more reasonable cost! Housed in a picture sleeve utilising the original German Hit-Ton design. The sleeve has a little light edgewear, but the vinyl looks barely played)
