HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (1982 UK Limited re-issue of the 1969 6-track stereo LP, described as one of the first 'progressive metal' albums from the UK. What ever the case, this is dirty fuzzed-up, psych-rock of the highest order, & certainly one of the heaviest of the late sixties to come from these shores. Features Tony Hill [The Misunderstood] on detuned fuzz duties, plus Simon House [Hawkind] on violin. The front laminated sleeve is in excellent shape with only some discolouringto the unlaminated back which is to be expected with a white sleeve, whilst the vinyl looks rarely played. This copy is numbered 292 from a limited run of 1,000 WAX8)
