JONI MITCHELL Mingus (1979 UK 11-track LP comprising her stunning, experimental collaboration with jazz legend Charles Mingus & dedicated to his passing [this was Mingus's final musical project]. The album includes complimentary backing from Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock & Jaco Pastorius & for Mingus fans, there's the vital A Chair In The Sky, Sweet Sucker Dance, The Dry Cleaner From Des Moines plus a wonderful version of Goodbye Pork Pie Hat. The gatefold picture sleeve displays Mingus' artwork & remains in Excellent condition with some light discolouration whilst the vinyl looks barely played K53091)
