THE BOYS BLUE You Got What I Want (Rare 1965 UK 7" vinyl single with intact four prong centre, also including Take A Heart, HMV die cut company paper sleeve. With both songs written by up & coming songwriter Miki Dallon, these were both recorded and released before the more familiar versions were recorded by The Sorrows. Sadly, after sniffing success, the band folded that same year and this single remains their only true output, although the lead singer Jeff Elroy did go on to releasea solo single the following year. Now one of those elusive nuggets that frequently feature on compilations of obscure rarities, this is the real deal. The vinyl on this copy also remains in wonderful condition, remaining near 'as new' with just a coupe of very light paper scuffs to show for nearly fifty years POP1427)
