HIGH TIDE Sea Shanties (Very rare 80s Japanese promotional-only sample issue of the 1969 6-track LP, described as one of the first 'progressive metal' albums from the UK. What ever the case, this is dirty fuzzed-up, psychedelic rock of the highest order, and certainly one of the heaviest of the late sixties to come from these shores. Features Tony Hill [of The Misunderstood] on detuned fuzz duties, plus Simon House [later Hawkind] on violin. The custom picture sleeve replicates the original album's artwork with Japanese text on the reverse and has only some light foxing to show for age, the vinyl is in immaculate condition. Auction terms such as 'monster' and 'killer' were invented for records like this one! DY-5804-02)
