PETER PAUL & MARY with SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA The Prague Sessions (2010 UK 15-track CD album - This project was envisioned by the band to honour the recent passing of Mary Travers this past September and as a tribute to the Peter, Paul & Mary legacy. Peter & Noel [Paul] have been busy recording new orchestral arrangements of many of their songs, which they have combined with recent and archival vocals from live shows featuring the entire group. These new symphonic arrangements were recorded live with the Czech National Symphony Orchestra in two eight-hour sessions, just days after her passing. In addition to the 14 tracks heard on this album, the symphony also recorded Samuel Barber's, 'Adagio For Strings', a piece Mary had once requested to be played at her memorial gathering, which was later fulfilled)
