CANNED HEAT & JOHN LEE HOOKER The Best Of Hooker 'N' Heat (1988 French-manufactured 10-track vinyl LP - this great compilation showcases the highlights from a meeting of two musical giants: John Lee Hooker and Canned Heat, who originally recorded and released a collaborative double album in 1971 on the Liberty label [becoming increasingly hard to find], and was the last album to feature the talents of Alan Wilson, who died shortly after the session's completion. Absolutely superb vinyl presented in a wonderful picture sleeve, featuring the artwork from the original album and comprehensive sleeve notes by Les Fancourt SEE234)
