DUSTY SPRINGFIELD Beautiful Soul: The ABC/Dunhill Collection (Rare 2001 US limited 20-track compilation PICTURE DISC CD featuring the 1973 'Cameo' album and material which was recorded for the unreleased 'Longing' album. Longing was to have been Dusty's second LP for the ABC Dunhill Records label and tenth studio album overall, it was recorded in 1974 and planned for release the same year and produced by Brooks Arthur, best known for his work as a sound engineer for Phil Spector. Most of the songs remained unfinished and were remastered and mixed for this release with some of the tracks using incomplete or 'practice' vocals. Complete with information booklet picture sleeve complete with a back insert which has a deletion hole punch through the barcode - now very sought after!)
