YES Tales From Topographic Oceans (Deleted 2009 Japanese exclusive limited edition 6-track 2-disc audiophile digitally remastered SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players] album set, originally released in 1973, featuring the band's most progressively outlandish efforts with epic tracks that original took up a side each on the multiple LP set. The album saw the depature of Rick Wakeman due to the sheer indulgence of the other member's work occupying the albumbut remains a mind boggling arrangement and musical accomplishment! Includes 2 bonus recordings, presented in a superb mini-LP replica style card picture sleeve beautifully reproducing artist Roger Dean's stunning design and illustration, complete with 'Yes' logo obi strip and within the 'SHM-CD' stickered bag WPCR-13519)

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
