CHAMBERS BROTHERS Live (2008 UK 13-track CD album - Like their West Coast contemporaries Sly And The Family Stone, the Chambers Brothers shattered racial and musical divides to forge an incendiary fusion of Funk, Gospel, Blues and Psychedelia, which, following their mid-60s debut album 'People Get Ready', reached its apex with the perennial 1968 song 'Time Has Come Today', featured here in a nine-minute version as part of an intense 'live' performance. This exciting concert performance features many of their other hits including 'All Strung Out' and their unique versions of several Soul and Blues standards.)
