JOHN MARTYN The Simmer Dim (2008 UK 13-track CD album - This is a rather rare and much sought after solo concert recording from John Martyn. Rare because at the time John was moving more towards a band sound and so solo appearances were becomingless common. This concert was recorded at the Garrison Theatre Lerwick in Shetland on the 12th of August 1980. The solo set includes the songs 'Over The Hill', 'Easy Blues', 'Couldn't Love You More' and an extended version of 'Outside In'which almost stretches to twenty minutes.)
