CANNED HEAT Canned Heat (Debut 1967 US first press 11-track stereo LP on the black Liberty label, issued shortly after their appearance at the Monterey International Pop Music Festival & housed in the original uncensored pasted picturesleeve. These early copies of the cover were recalled with the offending cans of "sterno" blacked out on later issues, as they were seen as an obvious heating element for getting high! Complete with the Liberty advert inner, the cover has no deletion cuts & is still in the open shrink, which has kept the cover virtually near mint, with merely a spot of faint discolouring creeping in at the opening. The vinyl is Excellent to Near Mint with minimal sign of any play LST-7526)
