STEPPENWOLF Steppenwolf (1970 UK Stateside black label issue of the debut 1968 11-track stereo LP, featuring the classic, Born To Be Wild, which coined the name for an entire genre with the line "heavy metal thunder". Other highlights include a heavy version of Hootchie Kootchie Man & a pounding tour-de-force cover of Hoyt Axton's anti-drug, 'The Pusher', front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve shows only light wear and the vinyl is Excellent with limited signs of play SSL5020)
