A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

WIPERS Land Of The Lost (Sealed 2019 US limited edition 9-track LP pressed on Heavyweight Blue Vinyl, originally released in 1986. Comes housed in a deluxe replica picture sleeve, factory sealed from new in the hype stickered shrinkwrap. The vinyl is Mint & unplayed JPR-056)

Tracklisting: Wipers were a punk rock group formed in Portland, Oregon in 1977 formed by guitarist/songwriter Greg Sage. The group's tight song structure and use of heavy distortion were hailed as very influential by many critics and musicians alike. Land of the Lost is the band's fourth studio album. It was very well received, with Maximum Rocknroll praising the title track for being “heavier and riffier” than the band had ever sounded before. Spin Alternative Record Guide called the album “the most definitive Wipers record for sound and songwriting”. Land of the Lost remains a highly sought-after album, but now there's a chance to get a hold of it again. It's a limited edition of 1000 numbered copies on yellow coloured vinyl. SIDE A 1. JUST A DREAM AWAY 2. WAY OF LOVE 3. LET ME KNOW 4. FAIR WEATHER FRIENDS 5. LAND OF THE LOST SIDE B 1. NOTHING LEFT TO LOSE 2. THE SEARCH 3. DIFFERENT WAYS 4. JUST SAY
WIPERS Is This Real? (Rare 1980 US limited edition issue of the 1979 12-track LP pressed on clearvinyl, heavyweight pasted picture sleeve with lyric inner. Seminal debut album from project formed in 1977 by Greg Sage who rarely played live and maintained a DIY ethos until Kurt Cobain listed Greg as an influence and Nirvana covered Return Of The Rat & D-7 [both of the originals are included on this album]. The sleeve shows a little scuffing to the bottom edge and is graded Excellent, the lyric inner is creased in places but remains free of any rips/tears, the vinyl is Excellent with minimal play only. This is the first copy of this early US pressing we've ever offered for sale - Recommended WS024)

Tracklisting: Side + A1 Return Of The Rat 2:36 A2 Mystery 1:45 A3 Up Front 3:05 A4 Let's Go Let's Go Away 1:47 A5 Is This Real? 2:37 A6 Tragedy 1:58 A7 Alien Boy 3:18 Side - B1 D-7 4:05 B2 Potential Suicide 3:35 B3 Don't Know What I Am 3:00 B4 Window Shop For Love 2:58 B5 Wait A Minute 3:05

WIPERS Youth Of America (Record Store Day 2021 Anniversary Edition 1981-2021 13-track double album 2-LP, cut by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI on Clear/Black Swirl coloured vinyl. Featuring a bonus LPrecord of rare mixes and tracks from the 1981 sessions. Deluxe foil gatefold picture sleeve with original rejected cover artwork, hype sticker, factory sealed. Limited to 3000 copies worldwide)

Tracklisting: Simply obliterating any conception of the Wipers as a mere punk band, Greg Sage released this follow-up to "Is This Real?" in 1981 - a sophisticated, overwhelming response to the evil times marked by the turn of the decade. Broken up into six long songs, "Youth of America" is a much colder, harrowing experience than the teen angst of their debut. Vocally, Sage comes off as sleep-deprived and forsaken, snarling not only at his own predicament but at the predicament of the entire world. The centerpiece of the album is the title track, a dire ten minutes of paranoia and angst that gave Sage the space to showcase his wildest, darkest playing yet. Tracklisting: LP 1: 1 Taking Too Long 2 Can This Be 3 Pushing The Extreme 4 When It's Over 5 No Fair 6 Youth Of America LP 2: 1 My Vengeance 2 The Story 3 Scared Stiff 4 When It's Over (Alternate Version) 5 Pushing The Extreme (Out-take mix) 6 No Fair (Out-take mix) 7 Youth Of America (Out-take Mix) ...
