dream 1965 UK 14-track mono LP on the black & yellow
Parlophone label, front laminated picture sleeve with round
ended flipbacks. Please see 'more info' for condition details
on this very hard to find British R&B beat gem .... PMC1257)
Tracklisting: 01. Bad Time

04. Taste Of Honey
05. Find Out The Truth
06. I'll Remember Tonight
07. You Don't Love Me

09. I Hope He Breaks Your Heart
10. I Can't Think Of Anyone Else
11. Shake
12. Soon You'll Be Leaving Me
13. Me Body
14. This Little Girl
Condition :-
This is a one previous owner archive copy, coming from a collection of predominantly sixties British beat & rock rarities. This low mileage example is also the first time we've ever clapped eyes on this record, which should give you some indication of its rarity.
The front laminated flipback picture sleeve is in outstanding condition. There are few signs of any wear to the laminate or discolouring to the rear, so often the case with most sleeves from this period. All text remains clearly legible, especially along the spine, & there are no tears or writing. Very, very nice indeed, & easily in excellent condition.
The labels are the iconic black & yellow Parlophone design, with silver lettering & 'Sold In UK' text & 'Gramophone Co' perimeter text. There are no tears or writing that could upset the print. There are the usual spindle marks noticeable by the centre hole to indicate some play in the past but nothing excessive.
The matrices in the run-outs read:
Side One: XEX 545 -1G
Side Two: XEX 546 -1G
Complete with period 'Emitex' die-cut inner, the vinyl has been cleaned on a Matrix machine & has come up looking sparkling. Realistically, we would grade this elusive copy, VG+/EX-. There are a number of light paper scuffs & the odd faint hairline scratch not affecting play. Thanks to the quality of sixties vinyl pressings, especially Parlophone in Britain at the time, playback quality remains exceptional, with any surface noise kept to a bare minimum between tracks & sure to please even the most stubborn of die-hard sixties vinyl collectors.
By no means mint, although the sleeve comes damn close, this remains a very acceptable copy at a fraction of the cost of a mint one [try finding one!]. | | THE ROULETTES Stakes & Chips (Extremely rare, collector's
