 | THE LOLLIPOP SHOPPE Just Colour (1985 UK 14-track LP repackaging
of their only album from 1968, together with their only single the same
year. On this one album you get the complete recorded works of the
band & very fine it is too, slotting somewhere between The Seeds &
Love in the LA music scene of the time. The picture sleeve does have a
little light edgewear and tiny area of lifting to the gloss from sticker
removal, but the vinyl looks barely played WIK36)

VINYL - originally released on UNI in 1968, The 'Shoppe had
previously done business as The Weeds, releasing a now extremely
rare garage punk single, 'It's Your Time'; their manager advised them
to change their name in line with the psychedelic trappings of the era,
and their lone LP is a fantastic mixture of garage fuzz snarl and
psychedelic whimsy, which includes their stand-out hit, 'You Must Be A
Witch'; presented in sealed & stickered picture sleeve)

collection from this legendary garage psych band from Oregon!
Allegedly, the band NEVER called themselves 'The Lollipop Shoppe'
[that was their manager's idea!], but nevertheless they delivered with
a curious intensity, often thought of as a mid-point between Love &
The Seeds! Gathering together their ultra-rare 1966 single, their 1968
LP for Uni, plus rarepost-LP singles from '68 & '71, presented in sealed gatefold sleeve, plus printed inner bag telling the full story!)
