A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| THE KIDS The Kids (Mega Rare Debut 1978 Belgian first press
12-track vinyl LP on the blue & black Philips label, one of the
finest Punk records to come from Belgium by a young band
heavily influenced by the first wave punk explosion from the
UK. Opens with the triple attack of 'This Is Rock 'n Roll', 'Do
You Love The Nazis' & 'Bloody Belgium'! These initial first
pressings can be distinguished by the banding on the A side.
The original press found here has five tracks (the songs BabyThat's Alright & Fascist Cops appear unbanded as a single
track), separated as six banded tracks on later issues.
Complete with the striking black & white picture sleeve, see
'more info' for further details...)
Tracklisting: This Is Rock 'n Roll 2:34
Do You Love The Nazis 2:25
Bloody Belgium 1:17
For The Fret 2:36
Baby That's Alright 1:51
Fascist Cops 2:32
I Wanna Get A Job In The City 2:53
I Don't Care 2:10
I Feel Alright 1:37
Old D.J.'s 2:31
I'll Get You 1:20
Money Is All I Need 2:00
Condition :-
The sleeve has an unforgiving matte finish in stark monochrome. This example remains in Excellent condition with no writing or tears & just a little faint print fade around the top edges on the front. Really nice.
The vinyl has a deep sheen both sides & grades EX/EX-. There are a couple of very faint paper hairlines & a very light pressing flaw 'bump' in manufacturing during the first track which has no effect on play. We have play tested the vinyl & it sounds remarkable. This is a very hard to find punk record & our first example, no doubt the best you & I will ever find. Recommended. | | THE KIDS The Kids (Mega Rare Debut 1978 Belgian first press
