Effects (2001 UK 20-track compilation LP, an essential collection that
brings together Vernon Elliott's wonderful cues & incidental music from
the much loved seventies British children's television programme. It's
much more than just a kitsch nostalgia trip though as Elliott's music
conjures up a suitably 'other-worldly' vibe, often through the use of
nothing more than a tape machine, microphones, toy guitars and what
ever else came to hand - all lovingly put together by Record Collector's
Jonny Trunk. Comes housed in the original gold bordered picture
sleeve. The cover [VG+] has scuffs & thumb prints due to the
unforgiving gold finish. The vinyl shows just a few signs of light play
with the occasional background noise eveident but overall remains in
