A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...
| NICK TRAVIS QUINTET The Panic Is On (Rare 1956 UK issue of
the 1953 8-track mono LP on a 'deep groove' gold on maroon
'Nipper' label, Nick's one and only session as leader, also
featuring Al Cohn on Tenor, John Williams on Piano, Teddy
Kotickon Bass & Art Mardigan on Drums. This was recorded in
two sessions & very fine it is too. The fully laminated
scalloped flipback picture sleeve sports very collectable
artwork by Jim Flora and has been featured in several books
on his art, therear containing extensive sleeve notes by Alun
Morgan. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear with a
bit of scuffing to the corners and the vinyl reamins excellent
with just a couple of light surface scuffs to show for nearly
sixty years - A gem! CLP1036)
Tracklisting: Nick's Knacks
They All Laughed
Tickletoe
Travisimo
Jazzbo's Jaunt
