 | THE GENTLE RAIN / NICK INGMAN Moody (Rare 1973 UK 12-track
vinyl LP, fully laminated picture sleeve. Highly sought after [and much
sampled] crossover jazz longplayer arranged and conducted by Nick
Ingman and featuring a stellar cast of Brit-jazzers and library musicians
[Alan Hawkshaw, Kenny Wheeler, Brian Bennett, Toni Campo], it's a
set of [mainly] covers re-arranged with moody strings and jazz/funk
beats throughout. The sleeve shows some laminate rippling but
otherwise is Excellent, the vinyl looks barely played - this is the first
copy we've ever had too!)
