A FEW OF THE ITEMS WE WANT...

MIGHTY BABY Live In The Attic (2009 issue UK 8-track Virgin Vinyl double vinyl LP. Mighty Baby are firmly established as one of the best-loved underground bands in British rock history. Combining elements of blues, folk, jazz and psychedelia, their unique brand of experimental rock and roll is brilliantly captured on these rare recordings, finally given an official release here. Three tracks were captured live at a gig supporting US legends Love in March 1970, while the remainder were taped soon afterwards at London's Olympic Studios. The centre spread contains extensive notes, rare photographs and an introduction from their bassist, Michael Evans, making it simply essential for all fans of the band. The gatefold sleeve has minimal wear and the discs look barely played SBR2LP5052)

Tracklisting: 1. Now You See It 2. Stone Unhenged 3. Sweet Mandarin 4. Winter Passes 5. Now You Don't [Part 1] 6. Now You Don't [Part 2] 7. Now You Don't [Part 3] 8. Now You Don't [Part 4]
MIGHTY BABY A Jug Of Love (Impossibly Rare British Psych Dreamer 1971 UK first press 6-track LP, easily the most difficult to find Blue Horizon release out there! Having developed a strong Muslim (Sufi) faith in their time between their debut & this, their second elusive album, the London-bred MIGHTY BABY moved away from their early acid-influenced days towards something more reflective & acoustic, with long sprawling odes to brotherhood; this is their sixties come-downmasterpiece. Even complete with the lyric sheet & 'Head Hunters' company inner, see more info for full details...)

Tracklisting: A1 Jug Of Love 6:20 A2 The Happiest Man In The Carnival 7:09 A3 Keep On Juggin' 8:42 B1 Virgin Spring 9:20 B2 Tasting The Life 6:43 B3 Slipstreams 5:20 Condition :- Bought from its one fastidious owner, this album has been kept in storage under tight lock & key ever since it was originally purchased from new. The sleeve has naturally weathered ever so slightly around the edges due to its matt finish & remains a stunning Excellent condition example, with all text clearly legible including along the spine. Very tidy indeed & unlikely to ever be bettered, the cover depicts the group in full beard, chill-out mode sat cross-legged on a series of oriental rugs. The insert is crisp, 'as new'. The Head Hunters inner covered all the Polydor related releases of the day & bears no splits or writing. The matrices in the dead wax are machine stamped thus: 2931001 A/1 2931001 B/1 The labels are blue on white, unblemished & with just the very lightest few signs of spindle marks to indicate any play in the past. Produced by Mike Vernon, this is quite easily the hardest to track down Blue Horizon release out there. The vinyl itself is super clean & under a very bright light it appears practically near mint. This is a gleaming, shining example & one we are unlikely to ever bring to the market again. Much like the debut, but more so, this record is so elusive due to low sales & so tricky to find...... buy now or cry later!

MIGHTY BABY Mighty Baby (2006 UK limited edition 8-track vinyl LP, the first official reissue of this legendary album, originally released on Head in 1969, Mighty Baby's first album was a magical slice of late 60's West Coast influenced UK psychedelic rock from a band that had evolved from mod gods The Action, after changing their name, growing their hair and [allegedly] taking lots of drugs, this masterpiece emerged, mixing progressive and psychedelicinfluences with Eastern instrumentation, presented in replica of the original gatefold sleeve)

Tracklisting: 1. Egyptian Tomb 2. A Friend You Know But Never See 3. I've Been Down So Long 4. Same Way From The Sun 5. House Without Windows 6. Trials Of A City 7. I'm From The Country 8. At A Point Between Fate And Destiny
