11-track double album 2-LP - The debut studio album from the
experimental-psychedelic-folk-punk-duo of brothers Ian &
Daragh Lynch, who later went onto become Lankum.
'Cold OldFire' is fundamentally an album of traditional Irish
song, heavily influenced by Irish legends such as Frank Harte,
Planxty and The Dubliners, subtle traces of the group's
collective influences can be detected, from American
old-timey music, ambient techno and psychedelic folk, to
black metal, punk and rock n' roll. The two vinyl discs look
barely played issued n the picture sleeve which comes with
the individual illustrated / printed inners inside the clear
polythene sleeve which displays the individually
hand-numbered hype sticker on the front. The
numbering and download code are both also affixed to one of
the inners!)
