The bandstartedout life as Christian-hardcore heavyweights Strongarm in the mid 90's but after meeting vocalist Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional fame, completely changed tack and went onto create some of the most influential American indie/emo rock, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Jimmy Eat World, The Appleseed Cast and Sunny Day Real Estate.
