Fresh Maggots were two teenagers, Mick Burgoyne & Leigh Dolphin, who played melodic acid folk-rock. The album featuressome beautiful harmonies, including the whimsical 'Rosemary Hill' & pastoral 'And When She Laughs', with electric fuzz guitar kicking in at various points to startling effect, housed in a front laminated picture sleeve designed by the legendary Keef. This is only the second copy we've ever stocked, which should give you some indication of its rarity. See 'more info' for condition details... SF8205) Tracklisting: A1. Dole Song 3:23 A2. The spine is clearly legible, the back panel displays ringwear and general storage wear, but remains free of any tears or writing etc. We are unlikely to find a better one any time soon & this remains a very respectable VG grade example. The matrices: AGBS 0582-1E / AGBS 0583-1E The labels are clean with no marks or damage, suggesting light play. The vinyl does display some light hairlines/scuffs and there are a couple of pops on rotation on one track but otherwise playback is great and is graded VG/VG+ FRESH MAGGOTS Fresh Maggots (2005 German audiophile issue of the rare 1971 11-track LP, pressed on 180gm vinyl, complete with picture insert, picture sleeve.
